Domain Name - A domain name is a simple way to tell the address of a website.
For example - http://www.bunnings.com.au will take us to the Bunnings Warehouse website.
Generally a business owner in Australia will register a domain name similar to his Business name, e.g - Joe's Workshop may want http://www.joesworkshop.com.au.
Australian website generally ends with a .au suffix, however this is not a rule as such. Website names can end with just .com or .net and so forth although the business itself may be all Australian.

Hosting - The content of the website needs to be kept in a computer that is online at all times and is loaded with proper software so that visitors are able see those contents. In other words there are servers that contains all the pictures and texts, so forth and lets visitors access see them 24/7.
